Smoke Signals

@Jens: Etna it's for sure someting to visit, it's the highest active volcano in Europe after all. But if you will come to visit also the Godfather locations here there is a trick: almost anyone of the movie scenes was took in Corleone. They where all took among my city and Taormina. This is a couple of links about: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Pate_(Film)#Dreharbeiten http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Il_padrino_(film)#Galleria_fotografica_delle_location_siciliane And this a picture of the bar we...

Smoke Signals

Jens: both you and Le Loup are right to think this could be a dangerous situation. But Etna is a not explosive volcano, it is almost the year in eruption and ususally there is not any danger. So, it's strange, but during these kind of eruption you can see a lot of people going there to whatch it closely. The Forest department has to close the roads to avoid this. And I must admit that many among these people come from Germany

Where to buy an arm band?

I would want to buy an arm band in this style. This in the photo is realized in German silver, with incisions typical of the Northeast (Wabanaki). Can someone recommend me a shop on line, in Germany or however in Europe, where is it possible to find arm bands of this type? Thanks to everyone This is a sort of translation: Ich möchte kaufen wollen, einen Arm Band in diesem Stil. Diese in das Foto ist realisiert in German Silber, mit rillenschliffe typische im Nordosten (Wabanaki). Kann jemand emp...

Zitat Original von Quillshirt78 @ alz Never mind! You don't have to excuse your mistakes, neither in English nor in German. I guess we would have to face the same problem when it comes to talk Italian You will also see lots of mistakes in the postings by German native speakers... Tu mi capisci vero? Hm, I have a question after reading your last posting: you said that you've seen a peplica of a coat alike but the translation reads you made a coat like that...so what's it? Cordiali saluti verso S...

RE: Lederhemd

Really interesting post Pierre. I have seen a replica of an Ojibwa/Metis coat, dating to 1790/1810, with a pattern very similar to that of the Clark's coat in your book. I try a translation so excuse my mistakes: "Ein posten sehr interessanter Pierre. Ich habe einem coat Ojibwa/Metis die 1790/1810 mit einem sehr ahnlichen muster mit dem Clark's coat ihres buches gemacht."
